Updated: Sep 12

Plans have been made for an Amp Camp, described as a “five day power utility boot camp,’” in early October on the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Pulaski Campus.

The camp will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the TCAT Campus Oct. 2-6 and is geared toward youngsters ages 14-16 from Giles, Lawrence and Lincoln County schools.

Twenty seats are available at the camp.

Information will be available about utility jobs, through field trips, tours, live demonstrations and hands-on learning
