Trip Planned to Legacy Museum

Registration closes Sept. 22 for a group trip to The Legacy Museum and the National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, Ala., on Oct. 6.

Transportation will be provided by First United Methodist Church. Registration is required, and admission is $5.

Space for the trip is limited.

This day-long trip is organized by the Giles County Community Remembrance Project,

a local group working with the Equal Justice Initiative, to raise awareness of victims of racial terror lynching in Giles County.
